Software engineer with 12+ years of experience, currently focused on data engineering and agentic AI at Capgemini Sweden (deployed to Telia). I've worked for companies such as Icelandair and Kolibri, ran my own web studio in Iceland (Brisa), taught and developed the web development curriculum at Tækniskólinn, and co-founded a tourism startup in Vietnam (Conbeo).

Lead front-end developer at Icelandair . Led a team of 4 developing a new airline portal, serving tens of thousands of daily visits.

Created onboarding documentation that reduced ramp-up time for new developers. Built CMS tools that gave the content team publishing independence, removing an engineering bottleneck.

2021 - 2022

Front-end developer at Kolibri , creating beautiful things like this website for the National Gallery of Iceland on the Next.js stack. Built a custom search integration for an external data source where no off-the-shelf solution existed.

2018 - 2021

Course developer & instructor at Tækniskólinn — redesigned the Web Development curriculum: 40 modules, 3 cohorts, ~75% job placement rate. Built a peer assessment system (Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB) and coordinated industry evaluation seminars.

Co-founded Conbeo Vietnam (tourism marketplace — 2 investors, 50 partner agencies, 300+ tours) and worked on client projects such as de Linde and MAR .

2014 - 2018

Founded Brisa, my web studio, with ~10 associates (developers, designers, photographers, illustrators). Delivered 15+ projects for clients including the Icelandic Ministry of Education, Lýsi, and Kaffitár, plus international clients Unmind (UK) and CoPlus (DK). Other projects include List Fyrir Alla , Biophilia Educational , Lýsi Life, ZO.ON, and many others.

2013 - 2014

Moved to Iceland, to work at Locatify where I have developed a mobile app called Goldworm, which allowed kids to create their own interactive books.

I also coded features for their indoor positioning system.

2009 - 2013

Worked for Spirit Linux on the maintenance of Linux Servers, then as teacher at a cool NGO , then at Fivecom , a local software factory.

Finally, I started my freelancing career, which at this stage lasted for 2 years before I moved out of Brazil.

2007 - 2009

Earned my B.Tech. degree in Computer Networks, worked with AIESEC in a range of positions, organized EESL, a student-led series of conferences about Open Source Software.

Admittedly, I’m the worse at drawing. To counter this small issue, I love creating pictures that don’t require this skill, like creating patterns.

I’ve been experimenting with pencil, pen, watercolor and digital creation.
